EWU Food Pantry

Building a Healthier Community

MISSION

The EWU Food Pantry Program aims to alleviate hunger and foster a healthy and inclusive community by providing access to nutritious food and hygiene products. All members of the EWU community are invited to take what they need from the cabinets and central pantry. No personal information is required.

GET INVOLVED

You can drop off donations at the Central Food Pantry located in Tawanka 129E during open hours or at the Counseling and Wellness Office located in room 201 of the University Recreation Center. If you are interested in volunteering to help address food insecurity, contact us at foodpantry@ewu.edu or use the sign-up sheet below.

Each cabinet is "adopted" by an EWU club or organization whose members restock their assigned cabinet each week. Please email foodpantry@ewu.edu or message @ewu_foodpantries on Instagram with questions, suggestions, or if you are in need of accommodations.

THE PANTRY

The EWU pantry is open on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons between 1 PM - 4 PM, at the Cheney campus. This is the main pantry on campus, offering produce, dairy, meat, bread, canned goods, and hygiene products. Please try and bring a reusable bag and know that we currently serve 3 households at a time. Thank you for your patience in our efforts to keep our community healthy!
